About Me.
I’ve been teaching German to teenagers for over 13 years in both UK state schools and international schools around the world. I've taught GCSE, A-level, IB, both MYP and DP, as well as the Goethe Institut's A1 - B2 exam courses. I understand the challenges that come with learning a language, especially if it doesn’t come naturally.
Over the years, I’ve been a Head of Department and a Curriculum Lead, but what I really enjoy is working directly with students - helping them move from “I can’t do this” to “Actually, I can.”
My approach is down-to-earth and focused on building confidence. I specialise in helping students who might be struggling or feeling a bit lost with German. Together, we work on building not just their language skills, but also their resilience and belief in their own ability.
My ultimate goal? That they don’t need me anymore!
I offer tailored, supportive lessons that meet your teen where they are, and help them move forward at a pace that works for them.

Is your child curious about learning a new language but hasn’t started German yet? Our Online German Taster Course is the perfect introduction, designed especially for beginners aged 11 to 15.
Over one engaging week, your child will learn to confidently use basic greetings, talk about themselves and their family, describe friends, and discuss hobbies—all in German! The course is fully interactive, rewarding, and led by an experienced teacher who knows how to motivate young learners.
No prior experience needed—just curiosity and enthusiasm. It’s a great way for your child to discover if German is the right language for them.
The course is focused on communication and confidence-building.
